I have been involved with digital printing for over 15 years. A month or two ago, I decided to try to find an old letterpress printer and do things the old fashioned way. I was lucky enough to find a beautiful Kelsey Excelsior 5 x 8 press for sale on Ebay. Unfortunately my printing has not yet begun because the press was shipped in cardboard boxes, not a wooden crate. The press arrived broken, but has since been repaired. I've just placed an order for parts thanks to several resources. My first information about letterpress printing came from www.ExcelsiorPress.org - thank you Alan!! www.BriarPress.org is another top resource, as well as www.NAGraph.com, where the parts will come from.
